Built in 1851, Quality Hotel Royal Hull is one of Hull's best known and historically significant Victorian buildings. The hotel was visited by Queen Victoria in 1854 to open Hull Paragon Interchange train station which is adjacent to the hotel. You will be greeted by the magnificent sight of the grand lobby, with its pillared Victorian themed lounge bar. With its wide choice of fine ales and Continental coffees, it is the perfect place to relax, while for a meal, the Royal Restaurant offers a tempting selection of contemporary foods from an individually priced menu.

The maritime city of Hull has undergone regeneration in recent years and now features a number of attractions, many of which are within walking distance from the hotel. Nearby you will find The Deep – one of the most spectacular aquariums in the world and an award winning family attraction.

Princes Quay shopping centre, with its collection of high street shops and panoramic views of Hull marina and dock, is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. A walk along the marina will lead you to the cobbled streets of the old town centre where you will find exciting nightlife, including bars, clubs and restaurants to suit all tastes.

Wilberforce House, the former home of William Wilberforce who was instrumental in the abolition of slavery, is now a museum and is located not far from the hotel. Hull Maritime Museum and the Streetlife museum are also nearby.

The hotel is also a great base to discover all the delights of East Yorkshire such as the seaside resort of Bridlington, the Humber Bridge and the historical Cathedral cities of Lincoln and York.
